Itinerary description
Nice ride with very different surfaces. Starting at the bottom of the barranco in between the two sets of windmills, going up the dirt road direction Bitem. At the top take the asfalst down to Bitem and continue on the main, quiet, road towards Tinevys. From there you start the difficult ~15km climb to cardo. This road turns into loose rocks/gravel towards the top, not easy! When you reach the top continue to the right direction of the Balneari. From there take the asfalt road about 2.5 km down. After the tunnel and the series of shapr curves there is a dirt road on a sharp left turn. There is a sign on the main road, without arrow down the dirt road. After 50 meters there is a split, take the top one and follow the curvy, rocky road until you see signs again. When you hit a bigger road again, you will see Benifallet on the signs. Once down on the asfalt again, take a right, towards Benifallet. At the entrance at the Piscina, there is a water fountain to fill your bottles. Keep going until the bridge, cross the bridge and follow the main road until you see the entrance to the 'via verda Benifallet Station' Follwo the signs and then the via verde until you hit Jesus. From the pass throught the center of Tortosa on the steep climb towards the hospital. Keep going on the climb up to Coll d'Alba. At the top follow the road direction windmills and stay on the asfalt until you see the font de gracia next to a small farm. Go down the dirt road to reach your starting point
