Como bien indican la ruta es sencilla, bastante fácil de seguir, se sale de cambrils y se sigue el cauce seco de un río por un camino de tierra, los primeros y últimos 10 km aquello es un secarral sin demasiado atractivo ni dificultad 5 km antes del embalse la cosa cambia un poco, ya sigues el camino el cual se vuelve más estrecho y gana en belleza del entorno, cambias los cactus por olivos etc. y entretenimiento.
El entorno del embalse esta bastante bien, se Nota que es algo más de interior y que se han ascendido algunos metros. No es la ruta más bonita del mundo, pero se puede realizar y pasas la mañana.
