Itinerary description
Circular trail through Canterbury Chartham Crundale Wye Chilham and Canterbury. Day was sunny, and although it rained the day before, the paths were pretty good. The route goes through cycle paths, foot paths, single track and country lanes, a really nice combination. There are a number of gates to pass. I have used a borrowed hybrid bike which has narrow tyres, not ideal for single tracks and some stoney paths, so I took it easy in those parts. You can admire superb views from the top of the Wye and North Downs and great spots along the Great Stour river.
