Itinerary description
The "Crab and Winkle way", opened in 1999, it forms part of National Route 1 and takes its name from the railway line that once ran between the two towns (Canterbury - Wistable)until 1952.
Really nice and peaceful route that allows us to go throught several woods like Clowes wood, Thordem wood and Mintey's wood.
The track links the city of Canterbury, the village of Whistable and the village of Herne bay.
Be careful when riding by roads. English drivers are very respectful .......but who knows.
It's possible to rent a bicycle in Canterbury. See www.cyclecanterbury.com
