Itinerary description
This is a cycle tour taken from the app for: Vias Verdes y Red Natura 2000. There are cycle tours that partly go on disused railway tracks. It may be a good idea to use this app on these tours, on this tour there were several places where the signage did not quite agree with the app. We got where we wanted, but at the end the road was closed and we had to turn around to find another route. The road was closed at Fundación Centauro Quirón. You must also be aware that there are several tunnels on this route with poor/lack of lighting. But there is daylight at the end of the tunnel, so if you ride in the middle and take it easy, it will be fine. at the beginning of the route there was some solid road surface. Otherwise, there was a varying standard on the gravel and stone cycle track. Check that all screws are firmly screwed onto the bike, because at times there could be a lot of shaking. We recommend having a holder for a mobile phone on the handlebars so that a companion can accompany you on the route. I cycled from Caravaca to Molina Segura.
