Itinerary description
this route starts off easy along the coast towards El Caselot. But make no mistake. as soon as it turns towards the mountains you wil feel the tension in your calf legs. it wil be a nice road up until the foot of the mountain where you wil start the difficult part of this route. the road is very rocky and steep, what makes it hard to stay on your bike. Take in mind that you wil need to walk a large part of this climb. As soon as you reach the col you wil be rewarded by the magnificent views. take the time to rest en drink because there is a technical discent waiting.
Just like de ascent, the descent road is filled with loose rocks. A good balance is of the essence.
The views in the mountains are beautiful and rewarding.
Make sure to bring at least 3 liters of water
It is not recommended to ride this route alone.
there is network coverage over the whole area so bring your cell for cases of emergency. Note that parts of this route is not accessible by car so evacuations needs to be done by helicopter.
Take note that it can be cold on the mountain.
