Itinerary description

This route offers a little bit of everything: urban roads, unpaved roads, narrow trails, steppe, woodland, nasty steep climbs, a fantastic view over the water reservoir of Los Peñascales, "carril bici" and urban parks. Only a little shade though, so not really recommendable to do this route during midsummer (like I did today ;-)). Must be beautiful in April-May.
Although the IBP index is 48 I qualify it like moderate because of the many steep ascents and descents in the Monte del Pardo. Especially the parts between waypoints "A" and "B" and between "C" and "Fence" are technically not easy. At the latter waypoint I couldn´t find the opening in the fence that is supposed to be there so I had to climb over it, using the stone wall of the fence of El Pardo.
