Itinerary description
We leave the bikecenter at 09:30 am and cross through Corralejo, leaving town on the West Side taking the famous 'North Shore'. Only a few years back this track could only be used by 4 wheel drive cars, today any kind of car can be seen driving down North Shore. We pass by the Desalation Plant 'La Oliva VI', that produces all the sweet water for Corralejo, drive through Majanicho, a small fishing village on the North Shore to the Lighthouse of El Cotillo, which marks the northwestern edge of Fuerteventura.
We take a short break at the 'Torre del Toston', a tower build in the 18th century to protect the harbour from pirate attacks. From there we ride alongside the mainroad on the new bike path to Lajares and from Lajares back to Corralejo.

I had a great time doing this circuit. A good distance and the terrain wasn't too challenging. A great way to see the north of the island. Highly recommended
