Itinerary description
Cycling - Mount Baron is one of the closest reliefs to the city of Torino.
I had found a report for this ride and decided to give it a try. Probably too old a report as I found it not cyclable between Km 14 and Km 18 due to heavy erosion and vegetation. Pushing and portage have me rate this ride as very difficult.
The rest is feasible with an interesting climb of 3 Km at grade over 15% starting at Km 10. Nice view from Baron's summit but not worth the effort, then an out-and-back solution is a better choice rather than completing the loop.
About 800 m (2,620 ft) total climb.
