Itinerary description
Short, but beautiful; crossing a pine forest area have nice landscape views. Our daugther Luna with 7 y-o found the beginning quite hard, but we used the trail-gator bar... We did this track during a working day, so we were almost alone; we highly recommend avoid weekends with many cars it is a local crowded pic-nic area; the roads are quite narrow and like a mountain road is full of curves; people drive quite careless, showing off their skills and engine power with the car not expecting at all cyclists on the way.
There is a building under construction and we saw, but did not meet with trucks, once again be carefull.
The point where we returned it's an excellent terrace for a pic-nic with nice view.

Hi Carlos. Today I was doing your track and it was nice!! I went alone without kids so I made it longer so finally it was arround 21km. Thanks for the info and hope meet you in the forest!! Un saludo. Jav!er
I forgot!!! Thanks a lot for the state forester, Mohammad. Great man and even better when his salary is only 270JD per month!!! Nice conversation with a new friend in the forest...
Carlos...trail looks interesting...where does it start? Is it safe to park cars for a few hours?
farisdarwazeh the start its at the main parking close to the entrance, later along there is a very well known area for picnic; but I never heard about any problem. There is an entrance fee (1 jd on 2010) and rangers will give you plastic bag for rubbish. As you read they were working for a new building so roads maybe changed. If you are strong cyclist you can try to reach the top to see the deers at the small reserve. Be careful on the road and enjoy!
Carlos..Thanks. It looks like a great spot for some trail running.
