Circular route avoiding main roads, mostly off-road.
From Duquesa Port first climb opposite Aldea Beach leaving the tarmac and to your left entering the tracks to take you to Secadero, usually finding tame loose cattle on the way, then through San Martin onto the CA8200 turning left after approx 2klm leaving the ca8200 behand you, following the Camino de Santiago yellow arrows towards Sambana, difficult climb and an interesting descent but some spectalucar views throughout this part of the route which brings you back onto the CA8200 turning left towards San Pablo. 3 klm on arriving at the only venta at which point on this road you turn right over a bridge and right again and so start your return off-road again towards San Martin via the Hermita amidst orange groves crossing the dry Guadiaro river bed turning left and after a few klms of a peaceful country tarmac lane running parallel to Rio Genal you find the last steep climb to arrive at the Casares/Manilva A377 road head towards Manilva and back down to Duquesa Port. My Polar bike computer recorded 1895 kcal burnt on this route. Happy cycling, and wear your helmet.
