near Hoogstraten, Flanders (Belgique)

Itinerary description
50km passing some single tracks, easy and quiet fieldroads (sand) and hiking paths through forest. When lucky you can see small deers crossing your way. No climbing at all, nothing but flat land.
Start at backside of one of the highest churches of Flanders and take the road away from the church to the Gelmel-castle (now a low sec.-prison). Following the coördinates you will pass some easy off-road passages. After 6km there is a first Single Track, followed by a close by second one. Now starts a long part of the track (apx 20km) riding on sandy roads (maybe muddy) in between farmfields until a new single track arrives. When finished the last real single track there is a new part of driving in the forest on sandy roads (and some small pieces of ST). Riding on forest roads you start to reach the end-point. Some nice eat- and drinking venues are closeby the track:
Vanneleke (pancakes, icecream, coffee,...), Lochtenberg Smaakhoeve (beers, coffee, snacks), De Klapekster (beers, coffee,... with a local nature-museum).
Plenty of lunch- and diningvenues in the centre of Hoogstraten
Track is 100% on public roads!!
A minimum on MTB-skills is necessary (on singletracks)
