Itinerary description
El Acebo de San Miguel - Ponferrada - Camino Santiago - Jaen Apartment STOP
The track was done with a MTB. If you use a bike with slike tires it is fully advisable to go trought the road and stick to it. If you have a MTB it is more hope to you to follow or not. The really difficult (technical part was done on the road in any case) was avoid and and keeping in mind the path way with some small stones and on the track. If you can afford some time and are not afraid of the track and small stone follow stick to the way as describe. If you walk you will have to take the track and avoid the road.
After the Castel you are not following the Camino and the way is giving to the property going trought the river side and keeping in mind a nice sight seeing, passing infront the food store just before reaching the property. Fell free to go trought the town if you prefer. Even if you are not stick to the Camino you are not missing anything and in fact you are taking a more direct way without doing a huge detour. In fact you leave the town trought the old path (Avda Compostella, Avda Galica).

On a timing point of view the way can be done in 45 min (bike) if you "rush" or 2 hours if you take some pictures, enjoy the sight seeing and lost yourself in the town. On a walking point of view it is the usual 5 hours of a Camino de Santiago Journey
