Itinerary description
Route from Palomas in Madrid to El Pardo park with hunting Royal Palace.
Start from Palomas in north-west direction, following "routa verde" bike path until M-607, where route turns north along bike path going to mountain villages north from Madrid. Just before police academy, route exits the bike path to the west, through dirt roads north from M-40 ring road. The first part through El Pardo park is a fun descent by very narrow and curby path! Exellent ride. Later path follows local asphaltus road and/or path next to it to the north until picknick area south from the dam, where we did a stop for snack and rest. Return done around the hunting palace, through the forest to meet again the bike path along M-607 and later "routa verde".
Level moderate for the distance and difficult surface in some sections inside the park. Nice views of El Pardo park and Cuatro Torres (see photos).
