Itinerary description
We leave at the bikecenter at 09:30 am and exit Corralejo to the South. We stay on the main road as we ride by Tamaragua and Lajares to El Cotillo.
In El Cotillo we turn on a quite bumpy dirt road, that brings us to the riverbed of 'Esquinzo'. It's the only "river" in the north of Fuerteventura that has water all year round. So it's much greener than what you're used to on Fuerteventura.
The riverbed brings us to 'Tindaya', where we ride around the Mountain and start climbing a steep road to the valley of Valleybron. The following downhill is quite short before turning into another long and steep climb to leave the valley. Our effort is rewarded with a 3 kilometer long downhill to La Oliva. On our way back through Villaverde we turn on a dirt track to ride around the 'Montaña Negra', before we go back on the main road near Tamaragua from where we ride back to Corralejo.
