Itinerary description
Piecing the smallest roads together including paths through rice fields on this overnight trip. Most of it was on quiet tar roads, some dirt tracks and concrete motorcycle paths. I went from Ubud to Bedugul to Munduk, slept one night there, asked for a lift by motorcycle taxi up the road again, before descending on the bike. Not recommended on a scooter, too many kilometres on broken tar roads or dusty tracks. All has been mapped on OSM.

Hi! Congrats on doing this track, I bet it was very hard!! I’m wondering if there is a way to get up to Batukaru? I’m planning a trip around Bali but not sure how possible this is. Do you live there? Would love to get in touch :) thanks!
@CrisMaristany Batukaru is a steep and muddy trail, impossible by bike. I normally live in Ubud, but I am now riding from Italy to Greece ;). I put you in touch with a WA group - they meet three times a week for gravel rides and can give you many tips. WA me at 62 82126102121
