Itinerary description
A nice warm up ride along the cliffs and to the East of Santander. The ridestarts and finishes in the little hamlet of Gajano and meanders through quiet side streets and a few tracks before crossing the de puetnte de ria cubas. Then along the coast roads, hitting some nice single track along the cliff edge at Playa Los Tranquillos. At the end of the trail we headed back, but whilst trying to cross Ria Cibas further inlnnd we had to stay on the CA146. Therefore at Castenedo take a minor road south and head for Pontones and Villaverde de Pontones. We sopped at Restaurante Collado Lindo for a great menu del dia at €10 per head, all in. It is not open at night.
