Itinerary description
There is a rather nice network of dirt roads and single track called the "Goat Trails" between Palm Desert and Palm Springs.
This route posted is pretty much a main trail/fireroad half way up to Murray Peak and back down. From the top of this route you can continue up to Murray Peak or Dunn Rd or beyond. Keep in mind this is the desert. It is rather warm and nice in the winter but rather hot with no shade in the summer. Sill rideable at day break, just not in the middle of the day. Regardless of the time of year, bring lots of water and seek local bike shop advice for longer routes!
