Itinerary description

The track was designed with the intention of exploring further the eastern areas close to the Meghna river. Therefore, after reaching the Meghna river, the route goes up, passing by an old building. Before reaching Meghna, the route pass through some challenging area (sand for a few hundred meters) as well as a not easy bamboo bridge (especially with bike shoes). The portion connecting the southern to the northern areas is not as interested as thought; A few Km of very bumpy road almost entirely urbanized. The situation improves when reaching the Indus complex in the north. The track continues then although at the river crossing near Dhaka I had to wait more than 1 hour as no boat service were available (it happens very often in this specific crossing point). Another point worth mentioning concerns the way out through Bashundara; when reaching the sport complex they installed a proper gate and I had to negotiate the passage. It could happen they won't let bikers pass anymore...
All in all a medium range ride, enjoyable in most of the sections.
