Itinerary description
Kjelsås at the south-east end of the Maridalen lake is a good point of departure for a bike ride in Oslo´s Northern Forest (Nordmarka). It takes you at some altitude where snow comes in October. The road is mainly gravel, and in good shape. Easy biking, and there are some nice places to stop and take pictures. Particularly the Rottungen lake.
