Itinerary description

Stunning and Epic 2 day off-road ride following the traditional South Downs trail from Winchester to Eastbourne.

We stayed in a B&B halfway at Findon (km 90) as the YHA at Truleigh Hill was fully booked. The stay in this tranquil village was great with nice food provided on a local pub.
From Findon we were also able to visit, first thing on day 2, the "Cissbury ring", a Hill fort dated the Middle Iron-Age possibly around 250 BC.

The route does not cross many villages where to get food but is provided with many water fountains (noted with waypoints into the attached GPX), which is very rare in the UK.
