Itinerary description
Rocking the red earth, part I. Made by Luc K alias ElKay. This trail explores the singletrails in the south of the country, marked by decades of industrial exploitation. You come across long abandoned iron mines and travel along open-cast mining areas that nature has recaptured since. The trail is not too difficult, showing only about 550 m of total climb (for roughly 35 km), but it comprises some highly technical descents. The numerous single trails flow very naturally but they are covered with stones and roots. Not easy... but so rewarding! If you have never biked in the south of the country, you'll truly be surprised... Affaire à suivre!
