Itinerary description
MTB tour to the top of Montserrat. Starting at the car parking of Cremallera de Montserrat, the first part til La Calzine is a moderate non asphalt way. Til Monastir de Montserrat we have to use the road. From there starts a partly very steep (up to 30%) concrete way up to the top station of Funicular de Sant Joan. Last part is an impressive way up to the Ermita de Sant Jeroni with a lot of stairways, which make a lot of fun downwards. Same for the first downhill part back from the monastery with lots of steps. The last part is very steep and blocked.
