Itinerary description
The Path 1 runs north-east of Montaione. It is in fact the union of the Rings "Gli Orti" and "Gambassi Terme" and will take you to cross the streams Orlo and Rio Pietroso and then go up to Gambassi Terme. From here, after admiring one of the most beautiful scenery that ranges from Valdelsa to the hills above Florence, you can go down up to Montaione.

Sorry Choxxer, I'm sorry to contradict you, but we have done this track just one week ago and it was very well maintained. We don't know from where you passed through. Its also possible that the rains of few days ago has damaged some parts of the path. In this case you have to know, as indicated on our disclaimer, that ibikemontaione does not care of the maintenance of the paths which is under the responsability of third parties.
No pb :-) I have never expected that this tracked is maintained in any kind of flavor. I'm glad that the recorded track is still doable and I probably took a different path. Thanks for your note here. Safe rides always
