Western NY has many interconnected bike paths Western New York has many miles of interconnected bike paths. A map is available at most bicycle shops in the area. The internet has a great map of bike paths for the Canadian "Niagara Peninsula". Many runners and cyclists use MP3 players with headphones and need loud warnings from a 100' away to let them know you are overtaking them!

1500 Buffalo Ave I got a flat here that took about 40 minutes to patch. The fixx only lasted about 2 miles. I had to walk through the streets of Niagara Falls Ontario for about 1.5 miles until I found the "Pedlar" bike shop. The locals were very helpful.

Niagara Falls, Ontario: nothing here to be seen, not even a plaque, just a suburban neighborhood. Surprising because the Canadians gained a strategic victory here.

    While not required as yet, A passport makes the boarder crossings go much faster and smoother. Two picture forms of ID are required.
