Itinerary description
This is a lovely, long ride from Ordino up to the refuge at Portella.
Leaving Arcalis you can take the route de ferro all the way to El Serrat, then a short section of road to a straight and steep dirt track that takes you to Incordina (the picnic area on the right.
Head into the picnic area and ride the trail all the way to car park at the base of Esbalçat.
Take the old road up to the ski resort of Arcalis and then sadly, you must follow the road up to the coma restaurant.
From there you can follow the track all the way up to the refuge.
On the way down, there are a wide range of off road trails. When you get to Incordina, make sure you take the single track down by the river. It's very technical but great fun.
