Itinerary description
Pfeifer Loop, located in North Little Rock's Campbell Lake Park, is primarily a mountain bike trail, but is also great for hiking and trail running. This single-track natural surface trail is mostly flat and twisty and is nestled in between the Arkansas River Trail and Campbell Lake just north of the Big Dam Bridge. The river/south side of the loop is a mixture of sandy and hardpack trail, while the lake/north side of the loop is mostly hardpack trail. There are several access points from Cooks Landing, Isabella Jo Trail, and the Arkansas River Trail.
The trail is well marked with yellow blazes. The trail is well maintained and gets heavy use at times.
