Itinerary description
Finally, it was time for Picos de Europa👊🏻!
After failing to get into the cable car because I did not get the proper tickets, dipshit😑😅!
Eventually I decided to ride and partually hike up from Espinama.
This resulted in a difficult mostly walking climb up but once up it was freaking amazing. Downhill riding along the most beautiful scenery. I had to go up a bit more and eventually further down to a point where there was no track anymore😅! I am very happy to have met David Lopez up there. He is a climber, but today he took his mountainbike for a spin. So not a regular mountainbiker, but luckily he was very good at reading the mountain taking us down true big rock and grass trains. Freaking beautiful but not eazy at all.
After that we where rewarded with more amazing DH riding and was able to shred right back to the parking spot.
What a day, amazing, the beauty of Europe is amazing also here in the high mountains of northern Spain🇪🇦!
