Itinerary description
Pinar del rey & canal
Random ride along the tracks of the pinar. All roads lead to Rome. The canal is not accessible at the northern end beyond Castellar so if tou want to exit into Castellar village you need to find one of a handful of trails to exit. On the southern end of the canal is a storage plant or pumping station where the canal starts. You need to climb over a rocky mound to get over the fence/ gated entryway. It’s legal so don’t worry . The canal is about 9km in length with just a very slight gradient and tarmacked mist of the way . Nice because u don’t have traffic abd you may not see another soul here
