Itinerary description
P1 is the 1st of 8 officially designated MTB trails in the Platak region. All trails are listed on the BikeRijeka.com website and the accompanying mobile app.
The trails starts at the main parking lot on Platak, and follows an asphalt road towards the Mali dom Platak (eng. literraly, Small mountain lodge Platak), the - you guessed it - smaller of the two mountain lodges on Platak.
It's my least favorite trail on Platak. After a 5th of the way on the asphalt, the trail turns to terrain, almost constantly uphill. The gravel is sometimes very chunky, and deep, and it's not really fun to navigate it. Also very tiring, unless you're in tip-top form. Once you reach the Radeševo local peak, you descend on an equally unpleasant downhill trail that requires care when navigating it.
