Itinerary description
A nice varied loop going around the Sant Esteve hills, with road, gravel, single track and rock slabs.
The first 4km are a bit boring on road, but it then jumps onto a gravel road, and alternates between some wider rock slabs and narrower tracks.
There are some very easy parts, like the road and gravel, but most of it is of moderate level with some more technical parts where one has to chose the right line.
The ending !! Avoid the last part once at the Mas el Siubès ! We took a terrible pedestrian path that is very steep. On foot it’s no problem but with a bike, you will have to get off of it many times, especially the last half. You can see on the elevation map the massive drop at the end, it’s short but super steep and no fun at all, you are warned ! :P
There’s a road that goes up there so you might as well take it.
If however you do decide to go that way, avoid the last part once you reach the road. We went through some forest to finish it off nicely but ended in some private horse fields looking for an exit. Plain useless, just take the road.
