Itinerary description
A beautiful quiet mountain range for cycling with many different options concerning directions, roads and paths. The views are impressive and there is a sense of isolation and light adventure in the air. You are permanently seeing nice little villages still using fantastic terraces for cultivation. Except for a 2 km difficult ascent cutting through one slope, this trail is quite easy going with nice long fast descents. Traffic was almost non-existent. The flora was for Portugal standards diversified. The crow was the animal that I saw the most. All in all a very well spent day.
