Itinerary description
Easy riding and spectacular views. Did it with an 8 and 10yr old so makes a nice family ride. Had cloud cover so nice conditions but take plenty of water if its sunny. There is very little in the way of shelter or shade.

Hey! Is it also easy from Fuente dé to Sotres, then to Mongrovejo? How long would it take?
How long it would take?....I don't know tbh depends how fast you ride. Its a fair old grind back up that hill and I ride with my kids which tends to skew my perception of time. Generally in that region I just bank on ANY ride taking all day! ;-) so set off early! Yes the riding would be easy enough as its all track but not sure I would want to descend and then climb into Sotres only to do the climb back up to where the track splits again (43.181178, -4.764703). You might be better off looking at (and coming out the back of Sotres after gaining the height)?;

and linking in or out sections to suit or maybe just riding back up the gentle climb on the road to Mongrovejo through Potes.. There is probably a way to link back to Mongrovejo but you will have to get the map out I'm afraid.
Yes, you're right I need to avoid Sotres. When looking on the computer appear a lot more routes. I can plan this on another app going down via Puertos de Áliva to Areños/Mogrovejo but taking a single track that is called Sierra de Carrielda on Trailforks. Should be a good aventura in August 😊
