Itinerary description
"Camino de Santiago" from Saint Jean de Pied de Port to Pamplona (Iruña), passing from France to Spain through the route de Napoleon / col de Bentarte, which is the main pilgrims trail. Some parts in the second half of the stage were done by road to gain time, as this is a (too) long trip for 1 day only if you want 100% camino. In fact, after passing the highest point and descending to Roncesvalles, do count with many more short but inclined "up and downs" in this journey. It is however a memorable one - in our case we got snow but still able to pass through, so it was probably a "once in a lifetime" experience.
