TANZANIA Round the Kilimanjaro 03 Marangu - Masai village

Partimos temprano de Marangu después de un buen desayuno en el Babilon lodge (la "spanish omelette" que no falte en nuestro refrigerio) y por carretera asfaltada ,con muy poco tráfico ,fuimos atravesando las siguientes aldeas : Mwika, Mkuu , Mrere, Kirongo,al principio mantenemos una fantástica vista de la cumbre del Kilimanjaro a nuestra izquierda para ir perdiéndolo mientras ciclamos hacia el norte en dirección a Mandara, Rongai, a partir de este pueblo y al llegar a una gran rotonda tomamos a la izquierda ascendiendo un puerto más que importante para seguir por Endoinet, Tarakea, . Después de esta última aldea se pasa un puesto de control de policía y aquí termina el asfalto. Seguimos la ruta marcada por nuestro track que nos confunde y nos lleva a través de bosques en la buena dirección pero se nos hizo noche profunda,con el correspondiente peligro pues atravesábamos zona de animales peligrosos.Gracias a la hospitalidad de una familia Masai pudimos dormir esa noche en una de sus chozas, nos dieron de cenar y el impagable cobijo para dos "perdidos".

We follow the route marked by our track that confuses us and takes us through forests in the right direction but it became a deep night, with the corresponding danger as we crossed the area of ​​dangerous animals. Thanks to the hospitality of a Masai family we were able to sleep that night in one of their huts, they gave us dinner and the priceless shelter for two "lost".
