Itinerary description

This is a mountain route, it goes by road and later by some sections of different paths. It starts from La Luna street and it is circular. In this route we can see the beautiful forests of El Espinar, but we need to be careful because you can cross with cars along the way. Some part of the route is under the shadow of the trees. However, some kilometres you must ride under the direct sunlight. There for, you should use sunscreen to avoid burning your skin..

Waypoints

Beginnig

This is the beginning of the route, at the Luna Street, in front of the swimming pool. After this waypoint, we need to take the Avila Street to go to the second waypoint.

IES María Zambrano

This second waypoint is at the institute IES María Zambrano. After this, we have to continue along the road until we reach an intersection where we will turn right to take Paseo Dr Martí Estevez street.

Hostal Siete Picos

In the street Paseo Dr. Martí Estevez there is the Hostal Siete Picos, that is the third waypoint. Then, we need to continue the road to reach the Carretera Forestal.

Entrance of La Forestal

Continuing the Carretera Forestal we reach an intersection, we need to go to the left. Once we go left, we need to follow the road.

Barrancas fountain

A little later the road we will find the Barrancas fountain. We continue the road.

Viewing point of Las Lanchas

If we continue along the road, we will find Las Lanchas viewing point.

Fountain of Peña Morena

At the road there is another fountain. I recommend you to be hydrous.

Fountain of the Virgen de las Nieves

Along the road there is another fountain. After this, we need to continue until we can turn left to reach the fountain of the Avellano. In this fountain we take a path to get to San Rafael.

Football field of San Rafael

This waypoint is at the end of the path, we can see the football field of San Rafael. We continue through the P. º Quintana and then continue through the Santa Teresa Avenue´s.

Path of Los Pastores

At the end of the Santa Teresa Avenue´s there is a park and the beginning of Los Pastores path. We take that path until we arrive the Avila Street, we carefully cross the road and go to the Be One fitness & Sport (the gym and the pool).

In this place we take another path called C. Cañada Mari García.

Llanos urbanization of El Espinar

At the second intersection we turn left and a little bit after we reach the Llanos urbanization of El Espinar. We continue the path Arrabal sector 1.6 El Espinar. When we reach P. º de las Peñitas we go right, to the center of El Espinar.

Church of El Espinar

Near the town hall, is the church. After reaching the church we continue the road and go left. We continue and turn left again, to go to the Corredera. We continue this path until the end of the route.

End of the route.
