Itinerary description
(English below)
Ver www.dragonflyvalleyholidays.com
ENG: Set off from Vale do Barco along dirt tracks overlooking Lake Cabril. Down to the River Zêzere and past a picnic area, follow the main trail up along the River Unhais, passing the island where the two rivers meet. Halfway along the route, there is a slipway into the river, where there used to be a small rowing boat ferry, a good place for a swim in the summer!
I did this route by mountainbike (e-bike), but it’s equally enjoyable walking it.
Glamping accommodation with stunning views is available from the start of the route. See www.dragonflyvalleyholidays.com
