Start of the route is from San Marcial Camping site in the Valley of Chistau. The first part of the track is all uphill and climbs 1500mts in 22km from the start. The climb starts on the road form Ainsa to the French border A138 running past Bielsa y after running past Parzán we leave the road and start to climb off-road which takes us to the Urdiceto Lake and it's hut. The climb is hard and long. Going down we take the Gr-11 a single track which at some points is not cycleable unless you are very skilled, it takes us to the very bottom of the Valley of Gistaín. The countryside is spectacular and not to be missed. We end up on a trail which takes us towards Gistaín and San de Plan, trail which later turns into the A-2606, this road has tunnels on it and you need some lights on your bike for safety.
