Itinerary description
Take the gondola from Vogel, 10mins drive from lake bohinj, there is some free parking. The gondola charges 8euro per bike for the uplift. The trail starts easy but then is a strictly full suspension mountain bike trail with body armour recommended, the trails are loose rock (scree) which is great if you like to drift the tail of your bike while screaming down a ski slope with massive views. Inclines are steep, but the turns and path width give plenty of room for having fun. The lower section becomes fast and flowing all the way back to the base of the gondola, perfect for a second run. Ignore our ride time as I was riding with my extreme sport loving 9yr old , despit body armour, his 20" hard tail wasn't suited to the rougher parts so we took it slow and walked a couple sections. You'll be fine to fly if you have a half decent full suspension , not a cheap rental :)
