Ascensión al refugio Munkebu desde el parking de Moskenes-Sorvagen. Es nuestra primera etapa para coronar el Hermannsdalstinden. El parking es público y gratuito. La ascensión nos llevará a la izquierda de 3 lagos.

Tras ascender al primer lago el camino prácticamente lo bordea pero ojo porque entre el primer y segundo lago nos pasamos el cruce y tuvimos que volver sobre nuestros pasos hasta encontrar la senda (os dejo el waypoint en el track). Simplemente tened en cuenta que es necesario ascender y que no iremos a la misma altura que el segundo lago sino por arriba. Nos encontraremos con cadenas para facilitar la ascensión. Conviene echar la vista atrás para admirar las vistas que son impresionantes con los lagos escalonados y el mar de fondo. Por esta zona nos cruzamos con unos bikers que no sé como demonios bajarían ??? Vaya campeones.

La ascensión continúa por senda clara dejando el tercer lago a la izquierda bastante más alejado. Vemos el refugio después de un pequeño descenso. Nos dedicamos a buscar sitio para acampar. Hay varios sitios donde hacerlo. Es una zona rocosa pero poco frecuentada así que es fácil encontrar un hueco. Os dejo waypoint con el lugar donde nos ubicamos con vistas al objetivo del día siguiente: el Hermannsdalstinden

Como nota indicar que los lagos son de agua potable (y muy buena por cierto) y que está prohibido lógicamente el baño.

Hike to Munkebu hut from Moskenes-Sorvagen. It is our first step to crown the Hermannsdalstinden. Parking is free and public (waypoint). The hike will take us to the left of 3 lakes.

The path goes just left bordering the first lakethe road but be careful because between the first and second lake we took the wrong way and we had and to find the path again (I leave the waypoint in the track). Just be aware that you need to go up and do not go to the same level as the second lake. You will chains to help the hike. I advice you to look back to admire the stunning views with the terraced lakes and the sea in the background. In this area meet some bikers. How the hell they would go down? Wow!! What champions!!

The hike continues to the third lake with clear path (pretty far left). We see the hut after going down so we start to find campsite. There are several places to do so. It is a rocky but little frequented land so it is easy to find a place. I leave waypoint where we camped. From there we could see next day goal: Hermannsdalstinden

Note: lakes are drinking water (and very good by the way) and of course bath is forbidden.
