Allalinhorn hohlaubgrat-Saas Fee

Para realizar esta ascensión cogimos el primer teleférico a Felskinn desde Saas Fee.
Al estar alojados en el valle teníamos el transporte en bus gratuito incluídos los remontes, si llegas con tu vehículo a Saas Fee entras directo al parking pues el pueblo es peatonal. Desde la estación de Bus (junto al parking) de Saas Fee hay que andar 10 minutos hasta llegar al remonte que nos dejará en la estación de Felskinn (3000 mts.) Una vez se llega a Felskinn se puede coger el MetroAlpin y ascender unos 400 mts más y subir por la vía normal. Nosotros pasamos por el Britannia hutte cruzamos el Hohlaubgletscher y recorrimos la arista Hohlaub hasta llegar a la cumbre del Allalinhorn, considerado uno de los cuatromiles más fáciles si se sube por la vía normal. El descenso lo realizamos por la transitada vía normal pero en lugar de hacer la bajada con medios mecánicos decidimos bajar hasta Saas Fee andando. Al llegar a la altura del MetroAlpin se empiezan a recorrer las pistas de esquí que están abiertas en verano. No están muy transitadas pero están construidas sobre el glaciar y hay maquinaria de mantenimiento tapando grietas de vez en cuando, nosotros atravesamos las pistas saltando algún que otro talud y un poco más abajo de la cota 3000 acaba el glaciar y se baja por senda evidente hasta llegar a Saas Fee. En total nos salieron 12 horas de actividad alpina muy gratificante.

To realize this ascension we took the first cablecar to Felskinn from Saas Fee. 
On having been lodged in the valley we had the bus free, included the lifts, if you come with your vehicle to Saas Fee you will arrive to the parking because the village is pedestrian. From Saas Fee's Bus station it is necessary to walk 10 minutes up to coming to the lift that will leave us on Felskinn's station (3000 mts.) Once in Felskinn it is possible to take the MetroAlpin and go up approximately 400 mts more and rise for the normal route. We passed for the Britannia hutte, crossed the Hohlaubgletscher and we crossed the edge Hohlaub up to coming to the summit of the Allalinhorn, considered one of the easiest 4000’s if it is raised by the normal route. The descent, we realized it by the normal route but instead of doing the descent with cablecar we decided to go down to Saas Fee walking. On having arrived at a height of the MetroAlpin we crossed the tracks of ski that are open in summer. They are not very travelled but constructed on the glacier and there is machinery of maintenance covering cracks occasionally, we crossed the tracks jumping some bank, and a bit down below of the level 3000 it ends the glacier and we went on evident path down to arrive to Saas Fee. In total 12 hours of Alpine very gratifying activity.
