Easy climb up to the Galdhøpiggen, the highest peak in Scandinavia.
Much of the rise can be covered with snow (when it was made in June, from 1800m the snow was continuous to the top), but this rise is not by glacial terrain.
The access to Spiterstulen is made by a long (14Km) toll road (80 NOK). You can spend the night there (paying) in bedrooms, tent or van. It is not possible to camp freely in the vicinity of (1km around) to be private land.
