Itinerary description
We made rmthe routw in two days.
1st day:
BUS from Huaraz to marian (2 Soles) and bus from marian to Cachipampa (1 sol) started walking the path towards the mountain and camped.
2 day: hidded the tents and camping gear and walked according to .gpx file.
Until 4400 m there is sometimes a path wich can be followed. The terrain is a mixture of grass and stones. After 4400 less grass and more solid rocks, easy to move if keeping as left as possible. At around 4650 try to keep left, since its easyer. Next km try not to gain or loose to much altitude until reaching the boulder field. You will reach the pass at around 4900. Keep ascending on the edge until reaching the terrace under the summit at about 5000. Go to the left following the terrace until there is a clear channel wich is around III grade climb. Be carefull with loose rocks. Better to wear a helmet and carry a Rope and some stoppers in case needed. We had a Rope and didn't use it

Very hard hike
Just do it if you are a very advanced climber and hiker
I found another Route to Cerro Rima Rima and i liked it a lot but i would only recommend it to very experienced people.
You start at the street to Laguna Llarca after the gate and walk up the street a bit until you see some stone Marks. walk up the Grass field to the Cliff. Stay at the Cliff all the time and always Focus on going upwards. A classic path does not exist but if you will follow your instincts you will find the way up. There are also some stone Marks but rearly especially in the forest. After 2h steep upwards you will arrive at a Grass field underneath the big Ridge/Cliff.
