Itinerary description
Ascension al Pico Posets 3371mts.
Se asciende por el bosque que luego al ganar altura desaparece para ser senda de pedregal, suelta en su mayoria. En el ultimo tramo hay que crestear un poco con algún paso interesante pero se no se mira mucho con confianza se logra pasar y hacer cumbre. Las vistas son espectaculares desde arriba pudiéndose ver El Monte Perdido, Las Espadas, El Gran Bachimala, etc.
En la ascensión se puede observar El Glaciar de LLardana.
Muchas gracias a mi amigo Jorge por mi primer ascensión a 3000mts, fue genial.

ETA from start at Viados was indicated at 5:20h we did it in 3:40h.
The first part of the climb is through the green Valley of Gistaín following a trail through the forest but as you gain altitude this soon turns into a rocky landscape, lose in most parts. The last stint goes over the crest and is possibly not for the very faint hearted but if you don't look down too much and press on with confidence the summit is reached within 250mts.
The views from the top are simply spectacular with views to the valleys below and mountains such as El Monte Perdido, Las Espadas, El Gran Bachimala, etc.
On the way up you can observe what's left of the LLardana Glacier, it didn't snow very much this year.
