Itinerary description
A long day out starting from thr village Vizzavona and ending at the refuge.
The first and longer part of the day follows the valley of Agnone climbing up all the way from the forest to point Muratello. This part of the path runs along the water and crosses with a series of beautiful cascades. From the obvious lunch-break point on Muratello its a knee-breaking decsent to the refuge along a steep broken cow trail. the views from Muratello and long the decsent are wonderful.
12km, +1200m/-700m, 7hrs.
