Itinerary description
St. Maria de Navaresse - Cala Coloritzè
Waking up at St Maria de Navaresse Camping, we pedal up towards Baunei with a high difference of 500 m over in 10 km, the road is rough, with curves and steep ramps. The grade is worth-sweeting mainly on the way back. A last climb of 150 meters up to 650 mamsl and then on a well-earned descent up to the crossroad where we take the path on the right hand side. At Bar Parking Su Porteddu we lock the bikes and hike down to Cala Coloritzè for about 2 1/2 hours. As you can imagine, cristalline waters are waiting for you at the cove. Bring (swimming) googles and swim to the inner sea as far as your breath or courage can take you, admire the surrounding mountains and watch out for weekend sailors. After lunch and relaxing laying down under the sunlights, we pack up and hike back to the bikes, and all the way up to Baunei where we enjoyed the descent directly to have a shower and taste a delicius italian meal.
PS: Don't miss the opportunity to eat at Tancau Ristorante Pizzeria, it's a must!!
