Itinerary description
Note: Paid activity, entrance restricted.
Went on a tour with one of the several adventure tour companies that frequent this route (findable on Google, Yelp, Facebook, etc).
Starts at the Arecibo Radio Observatory. Hike to the Tanamá river. Float down the river and through several caves. Hike back out to the starting point.
Chance of ant bites and stinging plants.
Involves swimming with your shoes on, and hike is slippery in places. Best to have shoes with good traction but ones you don't mind getting soaked.
