Khartoum: huge, polluted, under construction, flocks in the middle of crossroads, next to the pavements open holes of 1m in diameter over a meter deep.
After a detour from the main road towards the north we meet sand-colored villages with cubic houses equipped with a door, flat roof and sometimes two tiny windows. Streets full of healthy children. We arrive at the Nile near the sixth cataract, the boats await tourists for half an hour of navigation. The river is not very peaceful and green.
Going up the street always cubic houses, flat, acacias.
Naga site with rams statues just outside the well from where the water is drawn with the help of a donkey, seeing the donkey's way to raise the "bucket" we estimate a depth of the well over 50 m (depth 67 m)
