Itinerary description

Arrived early in Uniyu. Jeep tour crossing the desert. Visiting the old railway cemetery, salt hotels and a salt factory. We had a lot of sun and acceptable temperature but without sun it was very cold. In the middle of the desert is the Isla Incahuasi - the cactus island. A cactus grows 1cm per year and there are cactuses with 7m. The first salt hotel is now a museum. To due environment protection, it is now forbidden to have a hotel in the desert.
