Itinerary description
The trail starts off easy on concrete and pressed gravel road. The day pass (10CHF) can be purchased ca 200m after departing from the main Furka road (EasyPay, Twint). Parking on the first 200m is free.
The first half of the trail is super easy. Complete trail is doable with any car and doesn’t require the 4x4. I saw loads of campers there. In the second half of the trail, by the house I saw Toyota Yaris.
There are a lot more bigger loose stones at the second half of the trail. Nothing crazy, but you definitely need to drive very slowly (ca 4-7km/h). Two turns were tight where I had to reverse. All in all perfectly fine road.
This is a one-way road that ends by the dam. I didn’t find any way to go further.

Hello Martin,
I did follow this trail on Saturday, but I blew a tire on my way down the trail. Which I had to change right there, kind of a pain in the rear. Great views and as you indicated slow drive with lot of loose rocks. I was planning to camp there on Saturday night, but all good spots were taken in the afternoon. I will post pictures and video of my trip. Take care and stay safe.
